Design Engineer
The Design Engineer is responsible for performing stress analysis of structural components as well as providing interpretation and definition of specifications for Designers, CAD Drafters and Graphics personnel.The successful candidate must possess a demonstrated track record of increasing responsibility and the ability as a self starter to work in support of time critical projects.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience demonstrating growth in your profession
- BS in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on structural design
- FE (Engineer in Training) preferred
- Proficiency with two-dimensional computer aided design using AutoCAD
- Provide interpretation and definition of applicable product specifications and code compliance to designers and drafters
- Strong problem solving skills and a thorough understanding of manufacturing and construction processes
- Adherence to project schedules ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers throughout project phases
- PC skills must include MS Word, Excel; Access and other data base management or other integrated business systems proficiency ideal
Designer - AutoCAD
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years sign industry experience
- Thorough understanding of sign construction, manufacturing, and electrical requirements
- Strong problem solving skills
- Adherence to project schedules and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to present information and respond to questions effectively
- Proficient in AutoCAD and PC skills including Excel and Word
- Associates Degree preferred
